How to use this tool
Enter device watts and the exact UPS model, then compare its published runtime curve at that load.

All defaults are editable planning assumptions. Use actual product specifications and site conditions where possible.
How the estimate works
Use two points from the exact UPS model’s published runtime chart, in either order, with one load below and one above yours. The estimate interpolates between them on a logarithmic load/runtime scale, and refuses extrapolation.
Where product limits or site conditions matter, confirm them against the exact model and installation before buying.
Understanding your result
This tool estimates between two points from the exact UPS manufacturer’s runtime chart. Runtime usually falls disproportionately as the connected load rises; a simple battery watt-hour calculation would not capture that behaviour.
Choosing the right equipment
Find the manufacturer’s runtime chart for the exact UPS and battery configuration at your measured load. Check output watts as well as VA, plug types, battery replacement and whether the equipment needs a pure sine wave output.
