Water Management

Water management products help NZ households and property owners compare tank monitoring, level indication and compatible pumping options. This range includes Smart Water system equipment alongside pumps and a visual level indicator, so distinguish complete kits from replacement components.

Wireless tank monitoring

Smart Water kit with monitor, transmitter and sensor cable - Water Management at Tech Supply Shed NZ
Smart Water SW900 Starter Pack WiFi LCD (SW900-STARTER-D)

Build a compatible monitoring system

Tank-monitoring starter packs include different combinations of display, transmitter and sensor equipment. Compare the contents against the number and type of tanks to be monitored. Check sensor suitability, mounting and communication requirements, and confirm whether the chosen display provides the connection features you need rather than assuming all system versions are identical.

Fresh water pumping

Black fresh water pump with fittings and power leads - Water Management at Tech Supply Shed NZ
TCE Economy Fresh Water Pump 3.6L/min (TCE232)

Match the pump to the water circuit

Fresh water pump listings have different flow and electrical specifications. Compare the intended application, supply voltage, hose connections and pressure requirements before choosing. A higher advertised flow rate does not establish compatibility with the pipework or appliance, and the installation needs appropriate protection and compliance with the manufacturer instructions.

Visual tank level indication

Tank level indicator with a yellow float above a green tank - Water Management at Tech Supply Shed NZ
Hansen Tank Level Alert Indicator

Consider the installation and reading position

A mechanical level indicator provides a different approach from an electronic monitoring system. Check the supported tank configuration and how it is fitted, then consider whether the indicator can be read from a useful position. Do not treat a visual indicator as a remote alarm or assume it controls a pump.

How to Choose Water Management

System and sensor compatibility

Match transmitters, displays, sensors and pump controllers to the supported system. Sensor cable length and tank configuration matter, as do site conditions that affect wireless communication. Establish which parts are included and which are separately required before adding a component to an existing installation.

Power and application

Check the electrical supply and the pump or controller load. Monitoring, indication and switching are different functions, so select around the task to be performed. Use a suitable installer for mains-connected equipment and follow the documented water-contact and environmental requirements of each device.

Top Brands in Water Management

Hansen: Hansen is represented by a tank level indicator. This is a visual indication option rather than a complete electronic monitoring system.

Powertech: Powertech is the recorded vendor for compact fresh water pump listings. Compare their flow and supply requirements individually.

Smart Water: Smart Water provides starter packs, tank senders, displays, sensors and pump-control equipment in the active range. Choose compatible components for the intended system.
