Clothes Dryers

Find clothes dryers for NZ homes at Tech Supply Shed. From vented sensor dryers and washer-dryer combos to stacking kits for space-saving laundry setups, Panasonic has an energy-efficient drying solution for every household.

Vented Sensor Dryers

PTC Heater Technology

Panasonic vented sensor dryers use PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient) heater technology for consistent, energy-efficient drying. Moisture sensors detect when clothes are dry and automatically stop the cycle - preventing over-drying and reducing energy use.

7kg and 8kg Capacity Options

Available in 7kg and 8kg drum sizes to suit different household sizes - a 7kg dryer suits 2-3 people, while an 8kg model handles larger family loads more efficiently in fewer cycles.

Washer-Dryer Combos and Stacking Kits

All-in-One Washer-Dryer Units

Washer-dryer combos combine a front-load washing machine and condenser dryer in a single unit - ideal for apartments, smaller laundries, or homes where space for two separate appliances isn't available.

Stacking Kits for Space Saving

Stacking kits allow compatible Panasonic dryers to be mounted directly on top of a matching washing machine - creating a compact laundry stack that uses vertical space rather than floor space.

How to Choose Clothes Dryers

Vented vs Condenser

Vented dryers expel moist air through a duct to the outside - they require an external vent but are generally more energy-efficient. Condenser dryers collect moisture in a tank that you empty - no external vent needed, making them suitable for apartments and internal laundries.

Capacity

Match your dryer capacity to your washing machine load size. A 7-8kg dryer suits most NZ households. If you have a 10kg+ washing machine, a larger dryer or washer-dryer combo will handle full loads without needing to split them.

Sensor Drying

Sensor dryers automatically stop when clothes reach the target dryness level - preventing over-drying that can damage fabrics and waste energy. Worth prioritising over timed-only models for everyday use.
