12V Portable Ceiling Fans
12V Fans for Campervans and Tents
12V portable ceiling fans clip or mount inside campervans, caravans, and large tents - running directly from your vehicle battery or portable power station. Ideal for NZ summer camping where overnight temperatures can make sleeping uncomfortable.
Rechargeable Portable Fans
Cordless Cooling Anywhere
Rechargeable portable fans run on battery power - no power outlet or 12V socket required. Compact enough to pack in a bag, they're useful at the beach, on a campsite, or in any space where a corded fan isn't practical.
Desktop and Personal Fans
Small rechargeable desktop fans are ideal for personal cooling at a desk, bedside table, or outdoor table - providing a directed airflow without the noise or bulk of a larger fan.
How to Choose Portable Fans & Cooling
12V vs Rechargeable
12V fans are better for extended use in campervans and caravans where vehicle power is available. Rechargeable fans are more versatile for short-term use away from any power source - check the battery life at your preferred speed setting before buying.
Airflow and Noise
Larger blade diameter moves more air volume but may be noisier. For sleeping, look for fans with a quiet or low-speed setting that provides airflow without disturbing sleep.
Charging and portable setup
Compare the stated power arrangement and how the fan will be positioned during use. For rechargeable models, check the charging input, supplied cable and any battery-runtime conditions stated by the manufacturer. A runtime quoted at one setting should not be treated as a guarantee at every speed. Confirm stand, clamp or suspension hardware where required.
