Smart Lever Handles and Rim Locks

Lever Handle Replacements

Smart lever handles replace standard door lever sets with a keypad-equipped smart lock - a straightforward upgrade for NZ homes with lever-style door hardware. Available in black and satin nickel finishes to match existing door furniture.

Touchpad Rim Locks

Touchpad rim locks mount on the surface of the door rather than replacing the existing lock cylinder - making them easier to install on doors where a full lock replacement isn't practical. Suitable for secondary doors, garages, and commercial applications.

Wi-Fi Bridges and Smart Hubs

Standalone Access Keypads

Standalone access control keypads provide PIN-based entry for doors, gates, and commercial access points without requiring a full smart lock installation. Wiegand output models integrate with existing access control systems.

How to Choose a Smart Lock

Authentication Method

PIN code is the most common and convenient for everyday use. Fingerprint adds a layer of security without needing to remember a code. Bluetooth and Wi-Fi enable remote access and app control - useful for rental properties and homes where you frequently need to grant temporary access.

Deadbolt vs Lever Handle vs Rim Lock

Deadbolts provide the highest security and are the standard for NZ front doors. Lever handle replacements suit homes with lever-style hardware and offer a cleaner installation. Rim locks are surface-mounted and easier to install on secondary doors and gates.

Remote Access

If you want to lock and unlock your door remotely, you need either a Wi-Fi enabled lock or a Bluetooth lock paired with a Wi-Fi gateway. Check whether a hub or bridge is included or needs to be purchased separately before buying.
