How to use this tool
Enter speaker impedance, wiring arrangement and the exact amplifier's supported load range.

All defaults are editable planning assumptions. Use actual product specifications and site conditions where possible.
How the estimate works
Identical speakers in series add their nominal ohms; in parallel the total is each speaker’s nominal ohms divided by the count. The amplifier’s continuous output at that load is shared equally between identical speakers and compared with each speaker’s continuous rating. This tool does not cover mixed impedances or series-parallel groups.
Where product limits or site conditions matter, confirm them against the exact model and installation before buying.
Understanding your result
The nominal load estimate shows how series or parallel wiring changes the ohms seen by one amplifier channel. Real speaker impedance varies with frequency, so a calculated nominal match is only a first check.
Choosing the right equipment
Check the amplifier manual’s minimum supported load and continuous output at that load. Match connectors, intended listening level and speaker power handling; seek installation advice for multiple-room or 100 V systems.
