Weight Of It all is the debut album of indie rock band Shallow Dive. Citing post-punk influences of The Cure, Interpol, Editors, and The xx, Shallow Dive create a sound both brooding and punchy through the use of delayed guitar riffs and tremolo, pop-like vocal melodies, and driving drums and bass. The band formed in 2024, when D'Angelo Maclaren (songwriter), Mitchell Baird (guitarist), and Isaac Goswami (drummer) came together to play out Maclaren's first demos of what would soon become their second single 'Something Never Said'.
