About the Sony Alpha A7R V

Lossless RAW captures approximately 50% to 80% of the file size of Uncompressed RAW without quality degradation, which saves storage. RAW file size options also include full frame 26MP and 15MP, and APS-C scan options of 26MP and 15MP. Lossless RAW is available when shooting in that compression.

The 4-axis multi-angle LCD can be tilted or opened to the side, which suits both high-resolution shooting and video recording. Wi-Fi 802.11ac 2x2 MIMO, SuperSpeed USB 10Gbps (USB 3.2 Gen 2) and UVC/UAC USB streaming are supported, with one USB-C port and one micro USB port. The body is designed for high reliability in any working environment.

The 5-axis stabilisation figure is a CIPA measurement of pitch and yaw shake, taken with the FE 50mm F1.2 GM lens with long exposure noise reduction off. Subject recognition uses human pose estimation, and AI-based real-time tracking and wide AF also apply to movies. Battery life is approximately 440 shots with the viewfinder.
