To choose a size, measure your head with a flexible measuring tape, string or USB lead, from the midpoint behind your left ear to the midpoint behind your right ear, following the line of the band. If the measurement is more than 9.25 inches (23.49 centimetres), choose the OpenRun standard size. If it is 9.25 inches (23.49 centimetres) or less, choose the OpenRun Mini size.

Battery life reaches up to 12 hours on a full charge, and a 5 minute Quick Charge provides 2.5 hours of listening. Bluetooth 5.3 pairs instantly with a 10-metre range, MultiPoint pairing switches between 2 devices, and the Shokz App offers 4 preset EQs and 2 custom modes.

Do not charge a wet headset, and do not swim or shower with it. The box includes the headphones, a carrying bag, a USB-C charging cable, an after-sales service card and a user guide.

Its IP55 rating was reached under specific testing conditions based on the IEC 60529 standard. The Mini is resistant to sweat and water splashes, which makes it suitable for non-aquatic sports and activities.

Playback figures were measured at the Shokz Lab in a temperature-controlled environment of 25 degrees Celsius, playing WAV-encoded audio at 75% volume with all other features at default. Charging for 5 minutes allows about 150 minutes of SBC audio at 75% volume, and the quick charge figures were gathered in the same controlled environment. Actual battery life depends on volume, audio source, interference and habits.

The custom algorithm assigns each sound element to a dedicated driver, crafting a balanced, dynamic and immersive 3D soundscape. Dual microphones with AI noise reduction cut ambient noise by 96.5 percent in simulated intersection scenes, improving signal-to-noise ratio by around 29dB and removing loud echo. Outdoor cycling tests at 25km/h on a quiet closed road showed that wind noise is effectively eliminated.
