The IP68 rating is based on lab test conditions and means the phone is dust resistant and water resistant for submersion in up to 1.5 metres of freshwater for up to 30 minutes. It is not advised for beach or pool use, and the charging port should be dry before charging.

Titanium is used in the frame, but not in the volume and side keys or SIM tray. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 does not cover the camera lenses.
