About the Samsung Galaxy A17 4G

Gemini Live and Circle to Search need an internet connection and, for Gemini, a Google Account login. Mobile data fees may apply. Circle to Search must be enabled, may not work on all visual elements, and works with ambient music only, not music coming through headphones. Service availability and features vary by country, language, device model and subscription, and accuracy of results is not guaranteed.

The IP54 rating is based on lab test conditions, with the device sprayed by 10 litres of fresh water per minute for 5 minutes at all angles. It is not advised for beach or pool use, and the charging port should be dry before charging. Gorilla Glass Victus is applied to the front of the device, not the rear.

Optical image stabilisation helps capture blur-free video and brighter shots, though results vary with lighting and the subject must stay steady. The 6.7-inch measurement is across the full rectangle, or 6.5 inches once the rounded corners are accounted for, and the viewable area is smaller because of the corners and camera hole. Battery life varies with network, apps used and how often the phone is charged.

Actual battery life depends on network conditions, the features and apps you use, how often you make calls and send messages, and how many times the phone is charged, among other factors.

Blur-free video and brighter shots from the optical image stabilisation depend on lighting conditions, so results may vary between scenes. The 6.7-inch display figure is measured diagonally across the full rectangle of the screen.
