About the Insta360 Mic Air

Direct transmitter-to-camera connection is only supported for the Insta360 X5, X4 and Ace Pro 2, and more camera models will be added in future updates. To connect mobile devices with the Insta360 Flow series, the Insta360 Mic Air 1 TX + 1 RX bundle is required. Video trigger is supported only on X5, X4 and Ace Pro 2, or via a smartphone with a receiver. The 300m wireless range applies when the transmitter is connected to a receiver in an open, unobstructed and interference-free environment. Connected to an X5, the range is about 30 to 50 metres. Battery performance with the X5 is approximately 7.5 hours with noise reduction off.
