About the Insta360 Mic Air

The receiver connects to USB-C smartphones and Insta360 Flow series gimbals. The video trigger works only on Insta360 X5, X4 and Ace Pro 2, or via a smartphone with the receiver, and the receiver can adjust volume only. The 300m range is measured with the transmitter connected to the receiver in an open, unobstructed and interference-free environment. When connected to an Insta360 X5, the transmission range is about 30 to 50 metres, which may vary with device orientation and shooting mode. Battery performance with the X5 is approximately 7.5 hours, tested with noise reduction off. Direct connection to other camera models will be added in future updates.
