It’s been 40 years since The Fine Young Cannibals shot out from the UK and took over the world with their mix of soul, pop, post-punk, and new wave. They scored  8 UK Top 40 Hits & 2 U.S. Billboard #1 Singles, Grammy nominations and 2 Brit Awards.

Formed in 1985 by Andy Cox, David Steele (ex-The Beat), and Roland Gift, they broke through with ‘Johnny Come Home’ and a cover of ‘Suspicious Minds.’ Their 1989 album The Raw & the Cooked brought global fame, topping US and UK charts with ‘She Drives Me Crazy’ and ‘Good Thing,’ both Billboard #1 hits.

In just a few years, the band achieved commercial success, critical acclaim, and enduring influence, with songs still featured across film, TV, and playlists.
