About the Bose Ultra Open-Ear Earbuds

Bluetooth v5.3 keeps a strong, continuous connection within 9.1 metres of your device, and Bluetooth multipoint lets you switch between your phone, laptop and other devices. Bose SimpleSync pairs with compatible Bose soundbars and speakers for a personal TV listening experience with independent volume control. Adjustable EQ, battery checks and shortcuts are in the Bose Music app. The earbuds support Snapdragon Sound and are Google Fast Pair certified.

Bose played audio at a loudness of 75 dBA to measure battery figures. Playtime was tested by placing drained earbuds into a fully charged case, charging them to 100 per cent or until the case was empty, and repeating the cycle until the case ran flat.

Standby time was measured by keeping fully charged earbuds connected to a phone with no content playing until the battery was depleted. A 10-minute charge was tested by placing drained earbuds in a fully charged case, then resuming playback at 75 dBA with Immersive Audio switched off.
