The flex-grip headband and ergonomically angled ear cups provide a comfortable fit with stability, so high-fidelity sound reaches your ears optimally. Lossless audio requires compatible content from supported apps and services, and listening via the 3.5mm audio cable requires zero battery power.

Personalised spatial audio requires an iPhone with TrueDepth camera to create a personal profile, which syncs across Apple devices running the latest operating system software.

Testing conducted by Apple in March 2024 used pre-production Beats Solo 4 units and software paired with iPhone 15 Pro units running pre-release software. The playlist consisted of 358 unique audio tracks purchased from the iTunes Store at 256Kbps AAC. This testing supports the battery figures of up to 50 hours and up to five hours from a ten-minute Fast Fuel charge.

Lossless playback requires compatible lossless content from supported apps and services. Listening through the 3.5mm audio cable uses no battery power, so the headphones still play when the battery is flat.
