About the Beats Pill

The Beats Pill can charge your phone and other devices through its USB-C cable. The box includes the Beats Pill wireless Bluetooth speaker, a removable carry lanyard, a USB-C to USB-C cable for charging and audio, a Quick Start Guide and a warranty card.

Dust and water resistance protect against sand, water and other sources of ingress indoors and outdoors. These conditions are not permanent and may decrease with normal wear. Do not attempt to charge Beats Pill when wet. Cleaning and drying instructions are available from Apple support.

The Beats Pill can also charge your phone and other devices through a USB-C cable. Apple tested the 24-hour battery life in April 2024 on pre-production units, using a playlist of 358 unique 256Kbps AAC tracks at 50% volume.

The Pill is dust and water resistant, protecting against sand, water and other sources of ingress when used indoors and outdoors. Do not attempt to charge it when wet, and refer to Apple support for cleaning and drying instructions.

Dual iOS and Android compatibility enables one-touch Bluetooth pairing and automatic pairing across your other devices. iOS pairing needs an iCloud account and a compatible Apple device, while Android needs the latest operating system with Google Play Services enabled.

Apple ran the April 2024 battery test on pre-production Beats Pill units with pre-release software, paired with iPhone 15 Pro units. Because the test used that specific hardware and software combination, the 24-hour figure reflects those conditions.
