Asmodee Azul Board Game Resin First Player Token, 2-4 Players (50803)

Azul from Asmodee is a tile drafting board game for 2 to 4 players aged 8 and up. Players take turns drafting coloured tiles from suppliers to their player board, then score points for how they place them to decorate the Royal Palace of Evora. About the Asmodee Azul

Azul was designed by Michael Kiesling and draws its theme from azulejos, originally white and blue ceramic tiles introduced by the Moors and embraced by the Portuguese. The story begins when King Manuel I, after seeing decorative tiles at the Alhambra palace in Southern Spain, ordered similar wall tiles for his own palace in Portugal. Players are tile-laying artists tasked with embellishing the walls of the Royal Palace of Evora.

Who It's For

Azul suits players aged 8 and up who enjoy board games with a clear goal and a short 30 to 40 minute playing time. Drafting tiles and planning their placement gives every turn a purpose, which suits family game nights and small groups of two to four.
