About the Apple AirTag 4-Pack

The replaceable battery lasts over a year, based on Apple testing with everyday use of four play sound events and one Precision Finding event per day. Battery life varies with usage, environmental conditions, replacement battery manufacturer and other factors.

AirTag is IP67 water and dust resistant, tested under controlled laboratory conditions to a maximum depth of 1 metre for up to 30 minutes. Resistance may decrease with normal wear, so refer to the Safety and Handling documentation for cleaning and drying.

Precision Finding is compatible with iPhone 11 models and later, excluding iPhone SE (2nd and 3rd generation) and iPhone 16e.

This product contains a button or coin cell battery and is hazardous. Keep batteries away from children. Batteries can cause severe or fatal injuries within 2 hours if swallowed or placed inside any part of the body. Seek medical attention immediately if a battery is suspected to have been swallowed or placed inside the body.

Apple tested AirTag in March 2021 using preproduction AirTag units and software, paired with iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max running preproduction software.

The IP67 rating was assessed under controlled laboratory conditions following the IEC 60529 standard, which sets the test method for enclosure protection. It covers a maximum depth of 1 metre for up to 30 minutes.
