Power supplies need to match the connected equipment voltage, current and connector requirements. NZ shoppers can compare desktop adapters, DIN rail units, LED supplies and equipment-specific replacements, distinguishing an enclosed adapter from a component that needs installation.
A desktop supply may provide a fixed output with a particular DC plug. Compare voltage, available current, polarity and connector dimensions with the equipment label and manufacturer requirement. A plug that enters the socket does not prove electrical compatibility, and a mains lead or interchangeable tip may be separately required.
DIN rail power supplies are intended for compatible installed systems. Check output, mounting dimensions, ventilation and enclosure requirements in the documentation. Open-frame or terminal-connected equipment is not a ready-to-use household adapter; selection and installation require the appropriate electrical design and a suitable installer.
Some desktop supplies include multiple DC tips or selectable outputs. Confirm the correct approved voltage and polarity for the equipment before use, then check the tip dimensions and current limit. An assortment of plugs broadens physical options but does not make one supply suitable for every device.
Match AC or DC output, voltage, polarity and current capacity to the device. LED equipment may need a constant-voltage or constant-current supply; these are different requirements. A larger wattage headline does not resolve an incorrect output or incompatible connector.
Equipment-specific switch and router supplies need the supported host model. Check whether a listing is a complete adapter, hot-swap module, mounting bracket or cable. Read the environment, cooling and safety instructions, and use appropriate electrical installation support for terminal-connected or internal replacements.
AAP: AAP provides a plug-pack listing for compatible equipment. Match voltage and plug dimensions.
Brass Monkey: Brass Monkey has portable-equipment power supplies in the active range. Confirm the supported host device.
Cambium Networks: Cambium Networks is represented by networking power supplies and related adapters. Match the specified equipment.
Digitech: Digitech is the recorded vendor for recliner and LED power supplies. Their output requirements differ.
Dish TV: Dish TV supplies replacement adapter listings with different current ratings. Check the device requirement.
Grandstream Networks: Grandstream Networks provides replacement and hot-swap supplies for supported networking equipment. Host-model compatibility is essential.
Mean Well: Mean Well is explicitly named on desktop, DIN rail and LED supply listings. Some are recorded under another supplier label, so the product specification is used separately.
MikroTik: MikroTik supplies networking adapters and internal or hot-swap replacements. Check the exact equipment model and module format.
Netonix: Netonix has a dedicated switch power-adapter listing. It is not a universal networking supply.
PoE World: PoE World provides DC supply listings for compatible systems. An adapter is not automatically a complete PoE injector.
Powertech: Powertech is the recorded vendor for many adjustable adapters, supplies and mounting parts. Mean Well-named products are distinguished from that supplier label.
Teltonika: Teltonika offers equipment-specific adapters and DIN rail supplies. Match the terminal or plug configuration.
Ubiquiti: Ubiquiti provides networking power modules and adapters. Confirm the supported host and redundancy arrangement.
