Design: South-Facing RGB LED Lights Keychron K8 Max is a wireless custom mechanical keyboard. It supports 2.4 GHz, Bluetooth, and a wired connection. It allows anyone to master any keys or macro commands on its 80% TKL layout through Keychron Launcher web app. Besides, it has included keycaps for both Windows and macOS, and users can hot-swap with Keychron Super mechanical switch in a breeze (hot-swappable version only).

It’s a TKL (87 key) form factor, giving full function row and arrow keys but omitting the number pad for a more compact desk footprint.

Supports 2.4?GHz wireless (with ~1000?Hz polling in some modes) and Bluetooth (up to 3 devices) as well as USB C wired connection.

Hot swappable mechanical switch support (in hot swappable version)
The assembled version allows you to easily swap out MX style (3 pin/5 pin) switches without soldering.

Includes open source firmware support (QMK + Keychron Launcher) for remapping/macros; enhanced acoustic foams (IXPE/EPDM) inside for improved sound/feel; double shot PBT keycaps and screw in stabilizers for premium feel.

OSA Profile Double-shot PBT Keycaps
To further fine-tune your typing experience, the K8 Max comes with our unique OSA profile (OEM profile with spherical-angle) and double-shot PBT keycaps that aim to provide a more comfortable fingertip feel with excellent oil resistance for long-term use on the timeless tenkeyless layout.

South-facing RGB Backlights
The south-facing RGB is designed to better illuminate the keyboard backlight from the typist’s angle. The south-facing RGB is also free from interference when the user installs Cherry-profile alternative keycaps on their keyboard. Comes with more than 22 types of RGB backlight settings. You can further fine-tune the RGB hue, saturation, brightness, effect speed with ease.
