Choosing the right SLA battery comes down to three key factors: voltage, capacity (Ah), and physical dimensions including terminal type.

Match the Voltage

Most SLA applications in NZ use 12V systems. Always match the battery voltage to your equipment's specification. If your equipment requires 24V, you can wire two 12V batteries in series.

Match or Exceed the Capacity

Capacity (measured in Amp-hours, Ah) determines how long your battery will power your equipment.
