Iranian-born, London-based innovator Leila has been described as one of the "1990s forgotten mavericks" (Pitchfork), who has worked with the likes of Bjork, Terry Hall, Martina Topley-Bird, and Aphex Twin, releasing her debut album 'Like Weather' via his label Rephlex in 1998.

Shortly after, she signed to XL and released 'Courtesy of Choice', described as "creative, highly listenable, unpretentious electronic music at its best" (Exclaim!), and establishing herself as an integral member of the golden generation of boundary-pushing electronic producers. In her post-XL years, Leila released two albums via Warp and an abundance of edits on Soundcloud, collaborated with Richard Russell on radio shows and more.
