Designed to provide outstanding quality for content creators on the go, the ECM-W3 wireless microphone kit provides an all-in-one solution for recording voice from one or two subjects at up to 150m distance, without the need to deal with awkward and sometimes dangerous wires.

Featuring an integrated Li-Ion battery, the transmitter unit provides 6 hours of continuous usage without recharging. Likewise, the reciever has a 6 hour battery life, which can be extended by power supply from the camera body when a Multi-Interface Shoe is used. Both the transmitter and reciever can be charged from the provided charging case, allowing for the system to be recharged between locations, for improved uptime.

The ECM-W3 and ECM-W3S provide market-leading signal-to-noise ratio for excellent clarity and quality. In addition, when conditions are challenging, the inclusion of an in-microphone noise reduction filter allows for clear recording in-camera, reflected live in monitoring so you know what you’re getting as you shoot. A low-pass filter also helps to remove unwanted environmental noise like air conditioning and wind. The new safety function on the ECM-W3 also provides peace of mind in uncontrolled situations by recording a simultaneous safety track, ensuring that even if the audio maxes out due to a loud event, you have a fallback track that can be used to repair the audio and save a take.
